Malta’s Residence by Investment (RBI) Programme was launched in 2015 and updated in 2021. Any individual from a country outside the European Economic Community can participate in the Malta RBI Programme.

THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED FOR AN APPLICANT TO QUALIFY FOR THE PROGRAMME:
Property purchase of €350,000 (EUR 300,000 in South Malta or Gozo), or a property lease of €12,000 per annum
Contribution of €28,000 to the Maltese economy if the residential property is purchased, or €58,000 if the property is lease
Donation to a non-governmental organization of €2,000
A non-refundable administration fee of €40,000
